Relay Logic Design

The manufacturing processes in the industries were at the edge of being renovated due to raising demand in market .To regularize market demand the products needed to be manufactured rapidly as well as the quality was also to be maintained, Electrical switching and switching instruments facilitated the engineers to acquire automated industrial control using these switches based on operational logic that was pretty similar to Boolean equations.
Similar to Boolean logic designs the switches also had only two states ON and OFF. Yet the complexity was when the switches were to be connected in a specific pattern that could give the desired controlled output. This needed an electrical diagram to be drawn with all the switches used explaining the connections.  This would simplify its utilization yet the representation needed some standards so that the designing such control circuits are globally accepted. This brought out Relay Logic Designing as the first electrical switch and relay based automation.
RLD is very necessary to learn programming of most of the PLC used now days, or we can say that it is the first thing that establishes an basic understanding of Industrial Automation.
As we proceed we will go through each and every aspect of RLD programming acquiring expertise in it. Yet we need to be clear with the working of relay before we start with it, as well as NO and NC.(to get through relay again click here)
The complete program will be distributed in following categories, you can click on any one of them to directly get there.
  1. RLD Symbols
  2. Basic Gates Using NO and NC
  3. Universal Gates
  4. Power and Control Circuit
  5. Three switch Analogy
  6. Multiple Outputs Analogy
  7. Using Push Buttons (Start Stop Logic)
  8. Timer relay Applications
